Tank

Pneumatic sand truck tank material generally is carbon or aluminum. In comparison, carbon steel bulk pneumatic truck is cheaper and heavier. Aluminum pneumatic bulk cement tanker price is more expensive but lighter, more suitable for countries with limited weight.

Air Compressor

Pneumatic cement bulker air compressor is powered by diesel engine, then the air compressor will compress and inject air into the tank, when the pressure reaches 0.2Mpa, the discharge valve will be opened to unload the cement or other goods. Loading is carried out through the manhole cover.

Axle & Tire

Pneumatic bulk carrier trailers generally has 2/3/4 axles, the most common is 3 axle. Each axle has 4 tires, tire type is generally 12R/22.5.

Leg

The pneumatic tank trailer leg is divided into single-action and linkage, when the pneumatic cement bulker trailer and tractor are separated, the leg needs to be raised for support; when the powder tanker is working, the leg needs to be retracted.

Construction industry

The construction industry often requires the use of pneumatic trailers. The manufacture of buildings requires large amounts of cement, so we often see dry bulk trailer and concrete mixer trucks on construction sites.

Cement Plants

Cement plants also need to use dry bulk tank trailers frequently, cement plants need to transport cement often, the traditional way of transporting cement is easy to cause moisture, and is vulnerable to bad weather, and the transportation cost is relatively high.

City construction

A large amount of cement is needed for urban infrastructure construction, including railroads and buildings. Therefore, pneumatic cement trailer is often needed in urban construction.

How Does Dry Bulk Trailer Work?

Loading:

  1. Before opening the pneumatic sand truck manhole cover, one step you need to do is to first open the pressure relief valve to drain the pressure inside the tank. If you don’t, there can be pressure inside the tank, which makes opening the manhole cover a very dangerous thing.
  2. Open the pneumatic cement bulker trailer manhole cover.
  3. Load the cement or other powder and granular material goods into the cement tanker trailer tank.
  4. When the loading is finished, check the seal first and remove some magazines from the seal to make sure the bulk tanker truck seal is tight when closing the manhole cover.

Unloading:

  1. First, open all the inlet valves of the pneumatic tanker truck, usually you can find each on both the front and the back.
  2. Close these valves: the pressure relief valve, external source valve, blowing valve and unloading butterfly valve.
  3. Start the fly ash transport trailer air compressor, fill the tank with compressed air to increase the pressure inside the tank.
  4. When the tank pressure reaches 0.2Mpa, you can close the secondary blowing valve to increase the unloading speed.
  5. Make sure the bulk pneumatic trailer discharge pipe is not blocked before closing the blowing valve.
  6. Connect the discharge hose to the cement silo and open the discharge butterfly valve to start unloading.
  7. The unloading speed of air compressor is 1.5T/min, usually 40ton pneumatic cement trailer takes 30 minutes to finish unloading, but in order to avoid problems, it usually runs for a longer time.
  8. When unloading is finished, turn off the compressor and engine.
  9. Open the pressure reducing valve and close the discharge butterfly valve.
  10. Disconnect the discharge port from the vehicle and finish unloading.
